No 62. Sell something you have created on your blog with ‘selfy’

Selfy is an excellent website which allows you to sell a digital product on your blog. All you have to do us upload your product, upload an image and choose a price. You then paste the embed code where you want it on your blog and away you go. Your readers can click on the link then pay easily using PayPal. Once they have completed the payment you will get the money in your paypal account. Easy! Do any if my readers know of an alternative?

No 12. Don’t forget Weebly as an alternative to WordPress

Most people when they start a blog use WordPress. If you have not heard of Weebly however you should take a look. Weebly is based on a drag and drop interface and is very easy to use. You can make beautiful blogs and websites at the touch of a button. In many ways I think it is easier to use than WordPress but does have the disadvantage of not having the reader element. If you are want to make a stylish blog then give Weebly a go . This may be best suited to a business blog rather than a personal blog as you will not get the same interaction with other bloggers. If you integrate it well with social media however then you shouldn’t have a problem. Weebly has excellent features such as setting up a store which is fully integrated with Paypal. This is not as easy to achieve with WordPress. Take a look at my short walk from the station to see what can be achieved.

No. 9 Have some professional looking business cards made

Once your blog takes off and businesses and public relation companies become interested in what you offer you will need some business cards.

There are plenty of online print companies that will do this for you but I have found that moo.com create the most simple, modern and professional looking cards on the market. You do pay more especially if you want them delivered quickly but just choose the slowest option and wait. There is no rush in blogging. If you live in London you can pick them up from their shop just next to Shoreditch High Street Station.
